People@Places opens unique venue for meetings and events and flex-working at Technology Base
The former shelter B535 at Technology Base is being converted into a unique meeting, event and office location. Where the shelter previously served as housing for an F16, it has now been fully adapted to modern times and offers facilities for board meetings, training courses, events (up to 100 people) and office and flexi-work location.
Located at one of Twente's four Innovative Hotspots in Shelter B535, people@places Enschede Technology Base is a unique location for meetings, events and to spend a day working undisturbed. Located on the former military airbase with its green and rugged terrain, Technology Base is the testing ground par excellence for companies looking to innovate.
people@places Enschede Technology Base is surrounded by greenery and is easily accessible by car at a short distance from Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal, Almelo and the German border. The location can be reached via the A1 motorway, which connects Amsterdam with Berlin. The venue can also be reached by Air Taxi, charter or private jet. How unique a location must be!
Meeting & Events
Driving into the car park, you are immediately impressed by the shelter, an imposing concrete building with modern glass facade. The huge steel doors are still sunk into the concrete floor. This used to protect the F16s from bombing. The old shelter elements are a nice contrast to the modern furnishings and green surroundings.
Shelter B535 offers wonderful facilities such as a chic boardroom with panoramic views over the rough and green terrain, several meeting rooms, (flex) offices, a training room for training and courses and a fantastic event room for events for up to 100 people. Organising a team day or a unique company outing? That is also possible. End the day with a barbecue in the outdoor area or an atmospheric networking drink. The catering staff will be happy to assist you!
Flexworking
Rent a private office with all the conveniences by the hour, part of the day or the day, without being tied to an expensive contract. Gone are the days when flexible working meant sitting on a square metre in a noisy room. The need for flex spaces is not only increasing but has also changed in recent years. The branch at Technology Base in Enschede reflects the new way of flex-working.
